How do I become a volunteer?

To become a volunteer, fill out the application found on the link below. This will be followed by an interview and reference checks (for the safety of our members, potential volunteers are asked to complete a background check).

What kind of training do volunteers receive?

Once you are accepted as a volunteer, you will attend an orientation session and receive training on the computer system that enables volunteers to sign up to perform services. The Village provides training in a number of areas with ongoing volunteer workshops.

Can volunteers choose which services to provide?

As a volunteer, you may specify what you want to do and when by selecting requests from the computer system. Volunteer your way and when it is convenient for you. You may choose to assist with administrative tasks in addition to working with members.
