Membership
What is membership?
Eligibility - Membership in SCVV allows older adults to stay in their homes as vibrant, independent members of our community. Members must be able to stand, pivot and walk under their own power or with the use of canes, walkers, or wheelchairs. Volunteers cannot provide physical assistance such as lifting a member. Service eligible memberships include up to 25 hours of volunteer services per month averaging $1.67 per hour for an Individual Membership.
Individual Membership - The annual fee for an individual membership is $500.
Household Membership - The annual fee for a household is $750.
Reduced Fee Membership - Subsidized memberships are available to lower income families based on documented need.
Short Term Membership – For a fee of $75 for 30 days, renewable for a total of 3 months, Short Term Memberships may be helpful for temporary needs, such as following surgery.
Supporting Membership - An annual fee of $250 provides no volunteer services. Supporting Members have access to all social and educational events. There is also a tax benefit, $200 of $250 may be tax deductible. Consult with you tax professional. Support us now so that we will be here when you need us!
